Our ever-popular annual Silent Auction is back, an event you won't want to miss in the London Glassblowing calendar. This Silent Auction presents a rare chance to acquire a truly unique treasure - your very own piece of British glassmaking heritage.

Prepare to be captivated by a unique selection of works by the renowned Peter Layton and our talented resident and guest artists. Many of Peter's pieces hold a special place in his creative journey, carefully curated from his 'Highlight' archive. Each artwork, whether by Peter or our other exhibiting artists, has an enchanting story to tell – they may be fascinating pieces crafted during the development of a series or beautiful accidents born from the glassblowing process.

This year, keep an eye out for the exceptional lots that have been carefully preserved in The Layton Vault for quite some time, unveiled specially to commemorate Peter Layton's 87th birthday. These rare and precious pieces are priceless treasures, offering a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. This is what makes the works in our Silent Auction truly unique and special. Every piece is available from a reserve price – a discounted starting bid – with the original gallery prices visible for reference, ensuring an unparalleled opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

The deadline for online bids is 23:59 on Sunday 19 May; the  gallery is also open on this day and is the final opportunity to bid in the gallery.
