'The Tree of Life bears Strange Fruit.'
Coerced into explaining, though the work should speak for itself and one hopes, say different things to different people…

My piece 'Strange Fruit' is part of a series entitled 'Matters of the Heart', and inspired by the invitation to participate in an exhibition called 'The Tree Of Life'. It stems from the realization that between birth and death there exist only precious present moments - of love, joy, passion, strength, courage, wisdom, honesty, humour, generosity, creativity, freedom (and their opposites), and that in squandering these we are obliged to live with the consequences.
