London Glassblowing Workshop is delighted to announce ‘Essence,’ an exhibition showcasing a selection of exceptional artwork from the British Glass Biennale 2010. The Biennale, part of the International Festival of Glass, celebrates the most exciting glass by British makers over the past two years, and features many of the country’s leading glass artists including Colin Reid, Rachael Woodman, Keiko Mukaide, Ronald Pennell and Bruno Romanelli.
‘Essence’ presents a rare opportunity to experience a wide variety of outstanding contemporary glass, ranging from finely crafted vessels to cold-worked sculptural mixed-media installations. The full colour Biennale catalogue that accompanies this show illustrates the current vitality and versatility of the medium, and the excitement of the burgeoning contemporary glass scene. All pieces are for sale, the prices ranging from £85 to £15,000.
