Christmas Open House: Make this Christmas Unique
Open until Monday 24th December
|
We are currently hosting our annual Christmas Open Studio. Alongside the welcoming glow of the roaring furnaces, visitors are treated to excellent homemade mince pies and mulled wine as they browse a treasure trove of unique, free blown glass pieces by some twenty members of our studio. The fine selection, which ranges in price from £45 to £7,500, includes work by London Glassblowing founder, Peter Layton, a major figure on the international glass scene, and Louis Thompson, recent winner of the Jerwood Makers award and the British Glass Biennale. Of particular interest this year are a new heirloom Paradiso and Glacier bauble collection, with silver work by top British silversmith Howard Fenn and limited editions of exquisite miniatures of selected designs by Peter Layton and his team. Additional Christmas gift items include candleholders, cast glass robins, humorous glass tree decorations by renowned animator Phil Vallentin and a wide selection of jewellery, including beautiful pieces by Davide Salvadore from Murano. We are open from 10am until 6pm, Monday to Saturday and during our Open Studio we will also be open on Sunday 23rd December. |
